Brac is
Gaelic for bluff or cliff, and Cayman Brac offers some of the most
spectacular scenery in the Caribbean. Hosting a population of over 1000
residents, "The Brac" combines the well-developed infrastructure of Grand
Cayman with the relaxation and solitude of Little Cayman.

The clear
calm waters that surround the 12 mile island host a pristine reef which
offers great visibility and a profusion of fish life. Snorkelers and
divers can enjoy the reefs from shore, or from one of the boats operated
by the diving operators serving the island. Cayman Brac is also well
known for its bird life. The mangrove areas provide a superb venue for
wetland birds. The inland birds, such as parrots, king birds, and
flycatchers, can be seen along the trails, nature walks and preserves
around the island.
An
extensive range of lot sizes and locations are still available. Deluxe
condominiums are also available, at this time, for those who just want to
relax on this quiet, peaceful island.

The current moratorium on duty for construction materials and land
transfer tax has made Cayman Brac an ideal opportunity for people looking
for a safe home in the Caribbean |

Little
Cayman is a tranquil setting for someone looking for property on a quiet
island still to be discovered. The island, at 12 miles long and two miles
wide, has a little over 100 permanent residents yet sports some of the
best diving and snorkeling in the world.
Reefs start at about 20
feet and plunge to 3000 feet in the clear blue waters below. The shallow
reefs host a myriad of colourful marine life.

|
Little
Cayman has many sandy beaches along its coastline making it an perfect
getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life abroad.
Land
prices in Little Cayman are slightly higher than Cayman Brac. Sandy beach
lots are priced higher than ironshore frontage.
